Family Carers Ireland is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate
to fill the role of Office Manager CHO 2 working with our growing Home
Support Services team. The Office Manager CHO 2 will lead a small
administrative team and will have overall responsibility for ensuring
key scheduling tasks and administrative duties are completed. On
occasion they will be expected to deputize for the local Home Support
Services Manager.
THE OFFICE MANAGER?S CORE RESPONSIBILITY will be ensuring that all
administration related to the efficient running of the office is
carried out in a timely and effective manner.??
ROLE CRITERIA: The successful candidate should possess the following
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA.
* Must be educated to Leaving Cert level (or equivalent) and pursued
further studies in Office Administration, ideally to a minimum Level 6
standard.
* Experience of staff scheduling and resource planning desirable.
* At least 3 years? experience working within a busy office
environment is essential.
* Knowledge and understanding of Home Support Services/Home Care is
desirable.
* Strong IT aptitude essential with advanced MS Office skills,
especially in MS Word and Excel and experience using virtual
technologies such as 3CX, Zoom, Teams etc.
* Full drivers? licence, with access to car.

* An ability to multitask and have excellent attention to detail.
* Exceptional organisation and planning skills with the ability to
manage multiple projects to deadlines and keep stakeholders informed.
* A willingness to learn and a desire to implement a culture of
continuous improvement within their team.
* A strong work ethic is essential.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Permanent, full time role (**Apply on the
website**hrs/week ? Monday ? Friday). The role will initially be
based from home as per Covid-**Apply on the website** guidelines. Once
it is allowable, the successful candidate will be based at Family
Carers Ireland, Barrack Street, Loughrea, Co Galway. The salary for

an annual leave entitlement of **Apply on the website** days per year.
